  1. Amazon Customer

I was specifically searching for something to use in my pots to handle short sessions of water-bath canning for 8 oz. jars of homemade jelly. I carefully read the reviews and purchased this set of cooking racks. Excellent choice – they work great and are of high quality.

In addition to canning, I will be using them to reheat/steam meats and other leftovers that would dry out in the microwave. They’ll also be handy in my air fryer and to use as small cooling racks for baked items.

I’m very impressed with their quality and highly recommend them.

  2. Veras

I use mine for roasting meats and vegetables, steaming vegetables, clams, corn, and as cooling racks for pies and layer cakes, can also be used for cookies and cupcakes
too. I recommend this set of three racks being able to get all three sizes was a money saver. They are sturdy, well made, and wash up easily.

  3. Shel🦜🌻

I purchased these with the intent of placing them in the bottom of my Dutch ovens when baking sourdough bread. The Dutch oven heats up so much that the bottom of my loaves get burnt. I needed something to act as a barrier to keep the loaf from touching the bottom of the Dutch oven and these worked perfectly. I purchased the 7.5” for both of my 10” Dutch ovens. The size is perfect for being able to easily lift the rack in and out of the Dutch oven. The stainless steel is also durable. I recommend for all sourdough bakers using Dutch ovens.

  4. Robert K. Wild

Nice to use for small batch water bath processing for canned foods rather than to bring out the large pot onto the range and heat all that water. Also nice for steaming.

  5. Sammy

I use this a lot and works well! Quality is good! Noticed a bit off rusting after a few uses

  6. Catherine C.

Well made, sturdy, and useful to have 3 different sizes.

  7. Tamara Bonshire

    These

  8. Russ

We got these to replace our hot pads for on the table. These are much better as they are easy to clean, don’t rot, or absorb food
    Work well

  9. Woody

    accurate size and well made

  10. CannonFodder73

While they seem slightly less than 1″ off the counter they are sufficiently tall to steam whole spuds in a pressure cooker. Fagor/Zavor recommends at least 1/2 cup of water. Two cups easily fit underneath the rack without directly touching spuds, so they get steamed instead of boiled. They survived 5 cycles without discoloring or deforming (250F steam is corrosive to cheap metal).
They are inexpensive but serve the intended functions.
